Hi, I’m Byron Abt.

I am a sports broadcast and independent film professional specializing in Directing and Producing. I’m currently working as the Assistant Athletic Director for GATA Productions at Georgia Southern University. I manage their live in-venue videoboard shows, ESPN+ broadcasts, and live event productions.

Long term goals matter

I firmly believe in setting clear and well-defined goals and making consistent progress toward them every single day. Through hard work, dedication, and perseverance, I have been able to accomplish a great deal, yet I continue to chase even bigger and more ambitious dreams. Some aspirations, such as directing the Super Bowl halftime show or helming a major blockbuster film, may appear out of reach or even impossible, but they serve as powerful sources of motivation that drive me forward.

The key is to set meaningful objectives, put in the necessary effort, remain open to learning and growth, and never give up. With steady commitment and resilience, what once seemed impossible can eventually become possible.
